Crigger/Thomas Friends & Family Cookbook (download here)
Growing up, our family events always revolved around food. I guess that's a Southern thing, but, not knowing anything else, I can't be sure. The food became a tradition, all on its own. There was the white cake with "fudgy white frosting" for birthdays (except for my brother who got the Cinnamon Struesel Swirl cake instead), the Chex mix and sausage balls that my Grammy loved at Christmas (and the peanut butter balls that everyone else loved and I avoided), and other recipes too numerous to list. When I married and moved away, I got tired of trying to remember recipes and calling home to mom when I couldn't, so I put together a family and friends cookbook. I have been trying to get it finished so I can print it out for everyone, but unfortunately it's turned into such a living thing, that I'm having a hard time with that. So, here's the link. Enjoy it, make my family's recipes your own, and let me know if you find any typos. ;-)
